Solar Electrician

Are you a qualified electrician who specialises in Solar? Do you have a minimum 2 years’ experience in the solar industry? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!

Our client is looking to hire a fantastic Solar PV Electrician to join their team. The salary for this role is £45,000 plus a bonus.

Main responsibilities for the Solar Electrician role:

• Diagnose and address functionality and safety issues
• Plan and commission installations, indoor and outdoor electrical control, and wiring.
• Visit Installations both internal and external contractors inspect and test electrical systems, including fuses, transformers, and circuit breakers.
• Visit customer and sites to support their growth in solar.
• Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.

Qualifications for the Solar Electrician role:

• You will have a minimum of 2 years solar industry experience.
• Full driving licence required.
• Level 3 in Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings
• BPEC - Installation & maintenance of small-scale solar PV systems. 18th Edition
• City & Guilds requirement for electrical installations (18th Edition) (BS7671 Level 3)
• City & Guilds fundamental inspection, testing & initial verification (Level 2)
• Solar PV Installers and Battery Storage Course (Level 3) desired but not essential.
