Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Location: Wythenshawe M23

Pay Rates: £83 to £90 per day

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday

Reeson are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work within one of our partner primary schools in the M23 area. The nature of the role is to work within a Year 1 class. The role is confirmed until the end of the academic year and with a view to become a permanent member of the team.

We are looking for a committed teaching assistant to start as soon as possible, you will be required to work on a full time basis (Monday to Friday each week).

About the teaching assistant role:

• You will be working closely with the class teacher to help bridge the gaps in the children's education and raise attainment.
• You will be working as a general teaching assistant and delivering group interventions with the lower ability children.
• An immediate start is required for this role, this will be until the end of the school year-at least.

As a teaching assistant you will have:

• Teaching assistant level 1,2 or 3, or equivalent (But not essential)
• Two references- at least one ideally from an education provider or similar setting
• Ability to work well with teachers as part of a professional team and support the ethos of a school
• The ability to communicate with and inspire children of all abilities
• Strong behaviour management skills and experience of providing a positive learning environment
