Start the New Year with a fresh and exciting opportunity! Nottingham University NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our adult inpatient team. This role requires expertise in medical and HCOP (Health Care of Older People) teams.
What will your responsibilities be?
As an occupational therapist, you will provide high-quality services to adult inpatients, working independently while contributing effectively to the multidisciplinary team (MDT). You will support timely patient care and discharge planning, identify and manage acutely unwell and deteriorating patients, and prioritize your workload effectively and independently. Additionally, you will adjust to emerging priorities in collaboration with the wider team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need proven experience in adult inpatient occupational therapy, preferably within medical or HCOP teams. You must be registered with the HCPC and hold a degree-level qualification in Occupational Therapy. You should demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), possess strong skills in identifying and managing acutely unwell patients, and exhibit excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
