Corporate Finance Associate Director

SJC Partners have been mandated by the leading mid-market M&A adviser in the UK, Europe and globally to recruit an M&A Associate Director to work on the origination and execution of lead advisory mandates in both the mid-market and international deal spaces.

More specifically, responsibilities will cover:

1. Leading projects (with support from Director/ Partner) including being one of the senior points of contact with clients on M&A projects.
2. Actively managing client interfaces, taking responsibility for the day-to-day project management and delivery of M&A transactions. This will include assuming responsibility for managing all phases of the transaction cycle and deal execution.
3. Leading and managing the delivery of transaction documentation including pitch materials and client proposals.
4. Directing and managing colleagues, wider support staff and other external advisers.
5. Supervising and reviewing financial analysis complex modelling carried out by team members.
6. Taking responsibility for agreed areas of origination and business development.

Applicants must possess relevant M&A experience either from within an investment bank, big 4 firm, private equity team, M&A boutique or corporate development role with a demonstrable track record of deal execution across all phases of the transaction cycle from origination to completion. Naturally, you will have a sound knowledge of financial modelling including LBO and DCF analysis and be the type of person that relishes the opportunity for interaction and dialogue with companies, investors, regulators and other stakeholders.
