Robert Half are recruiting a new role of Office Administrator for a distribution and retail business in Huddersfield the business is experiencing a period of growth and is therefore adding to it's workforce. This role is a great opportunity to join a busy office environment where no two days are the same and there is a wide variety of tasks to be completed.
Typical duties and responsibilities of the Office Administrator will include:
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
* Maintain and update our CRM system with accurate customer information ensuring all information is up-to-date.
* Manage the ordering process for projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
* Manage incoming calls and maintain professional phone etiquette at all times.
* Respond to customer enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings as required.
* Use Sage for document creation, collaboration, and communication with team members.
* Support various projects by providing administrative assistance as needed.
* Provide administrative support to the team during onboarding and ongoing operations.
* Facilitate effective communication within the team, ensuring information is shared efficiently.
* Assist in drafting professional emails, reports, and other written communications.
* Ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms.
* Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.
* Assist in preparing documentation for meetings and audits.
* Book in stock transfers and purchase orders
We therefore are looking for applications from candidates with the following:
Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer services skills
Experienced user of Sage and MS Office applications
Attention to detail
In return, the success Sales Administrator will receive the following:
£28,000 - £32,000
