An amazing opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Resident Liaison Officer to join a well-established business on a permanent basis, to help support the customers throughout adaptations and disruptive repairs to their homes.

The Resident Liaison Officer duties will be:

• Your main area will be Birmingham/Coventry
• Liaising between customers, site supervisors, and contract managers
• Dealing with customer queries
• Ensuring all customers have a clear understanding of works to be completed, timeframe of works and arranging access for Operatives.
• Regular reporting to management
• Re-schedule jobs in the event of an unplanned absence of an operative and to contact the customer directly to agree changes
• Dealing with disputes and resolving complaints
• Building strong relationships with customers in order to provide information of works being completed
• To provide written or verbal updates to support accurate and timely complaint responses
• Arranging and scheduling appointments
• To attend site visits to properties on your own or with supervisors/ managers and deal with face to face issues as a means of resolution

As a Resident Liaison Officer you will need:

• Experience within a similar role in a social housing setting
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers who may be dissatisfied, and to manage expectations where appropriate
• Experience of using IT systems for job management along with excellent EXCEL skills as you will be using spreadsheets frequently
• Good knowledge of repairs and maintenance services in housing to include regulation, legislation and best practice
• Proven track record of delivering against targets and KPI’s
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Valid DBS Check – Basic acceptable

The successful Resident Liaison Officer must have a calm and understanding manner due to the nature of the role. You must be experienced in complaint resolution and have worked in a social housing setting. In addition to the competitive salary, you will receive £250 p/month car allowance, 30 days holiday Inc.
