Specification Sales Manager - Field / Home based
Basic £45,000 - £50,000, OTE £70-75,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance + Profit Share Scheme + Laptop + Phone + Benefits

The Job:
Our client is looking to appoint a field-based Area Sales Manager to spearhead the growth of a new business area covering London + the South East. This is a strategic role focussed on new business development, ideal for a driven sales professional who thrives on building new relationships and opening doors to new opportunities.
As the face of the business within this territory, you will be responsible for driving specification sales by developing fresh, long-lasting relationships within the interior design community, as well as end clients. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and expansion of the company's market share, as you identify and seize new business opportunities and bring a consultative approach to selling bespoke lighting solutions.
Key responsibilities:
New Business Development: Proactively seek new opportunities and develop existing contacts you already have within the contract interior design community
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth and increase the company’s presence in London and the South East
Lead the Sales process from initial engagement to post-project aftercare
Conduct research and qualify prospects through the company CRM, identifying key opportunities for growth
Preparation and presentation of tailored proposals, collaborating with various stakeholders to meet project specifications
Consistent revenue generation at or above minimum agreed gross margin level, with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth
Collaboration with internal support staff to ensure effective account management & customer service, as well as satisfactory project fulfilment
Continuous development of own knowledge of current & future trends through close customer contact and collaboration with colleagues
The Person:
If you have a solutions focussed, consultative approach to sales, a determination to succeed, and can demonstrate a track record of excelling within a B2B specification environment selling to the interior design community, then we’d love to hear from you!
Proven track record in specification sales within the A&D Industry with notable experience selling to a diverse portfolio of clients.
A driven and self-motivated individual who thrives on developing new client relationships and opening new business channels.
Strong CRM experience & knowledge, including reporting & forecasting
Excellent Account Management skills including strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand the customers’ requirements, and identify unique selling points, using a consultative sales approach
Desire to continuously expand own knowledge & experience
Adept level of computer literacy
Ideally based within London or the surrounding area
