Position: Remote Tax Consultant

Type: Full-time or potentially part-time

You would be joining a forward-thinking consultancy firm specialising in providing quality tax advice to a diverse range of clientele, including international companies and large corporates. They pride themselves on a collaborative team environment where you can leverage your expertise without the burden of overtime or time sheets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Telephone Tax Advice: Provide expert tax advice via phone, ensuring clients receive accurate and comprehensive guidance.
  • Email Tax Advice: Offer thorough and well-researched tax advice through email correspondence.
  • Research and Communication: Establish the full facts, conduct necessary research, and communicate detailed answers with appropriate legislative references.
  • Knowledge Maintenance: Keep abreast of all areas of tax legislation and developments to maintain a strong working knowledge.
  • Consultancy Referrals: Generate and refer more in-depth tax investigations and consultancy opportunities.
  • Consultancy Work: Occasionally undertake detailed consultancy and investigation projects.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to expand our consultancy client base and provide additional services.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other duties aligned with the job summary as needed.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience.
  • Extensive experience in general tax, gained from practice, industry, or HMRC.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to interpret legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
