Tax Accountant

Based near Birmingham, West Midlands our specialist client is looking for an immediately available Tax Accountant to join their team on a 6-month interim basis. The role will be hybrid based with 3 days a week in the office.

This job would suit an experienced tax accountant with extensive knowledge in tax computations and working with trial balances to assist with the preparation and submission of tax returns before the end of the year. This is a 4-month contract based in the West Midlands, perfect for someone immediately available and proficient in tax computations.

The successful individual will have familiarity with IFRS adjustments and VAT processes and strong understanding of transfer pricing and CIR calculations (outsourced). They must have the ability to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job responsibilities:

• Prepare and complete tax computations from trial balances (accounts use a combination of source data and out-of-system entries like IFRS15/16)
• VAT submissions
• Allocation of capital allowances
• Familiarity with transfer pricing and supporting CIR calculations (outsourced to a third party)
• Coordinate with third parties for iXBRL tagging
