Are you a Technician with an Electrical background, looking for a varied role in a newly established specialist company that offers progression, overtime and the chance to finish early on Friday?

The company specialises in providing noise control solutions for the industrial and power sectors throughout the UK. They design, manufacture, and deliver top-quality acoustic solutions, offering comprehensive support services. In this role, you will be responsible for installing lighting and power systems within enclosures designed for generators. Your duties will include handling control wiring, installing LV cables, and preparing and installing materials for company products. Additionally, you will oversee general site maintenance and ensure all safety procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

This role would suit an Engineer who is Electrically qualified, looking for a position within a specialised noise solution company, who offer opportunities for career development and advancement with overtime to increase your salary package.

The Role:

• Electrically install small lighting and power in an acoustic canopy, housing a generator
• Install control wiring from the generator control panel to the accessories inside the canopy and Install LV cables from generator to link box
• Be able to terminate a variety of cables, steel wire armour, large single core H07, multicore H07, YY and CY
• General site maintenance and installation of equipment
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Monday to Thursday (7:30am - 4:30pm) Friday ( 7:30am - 12:30pm)

The Person:

• Wiring of general lighting and power circuits, three phase knowledge an advantage
• Electrical installation and maintenance level 3
• Knowledge of 18th edition wiring regulations
• Industrial and commercial background
