Long - Term Teachers are working with an alternative provision based in Quedgeley, who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, qualified teacher to join them on a full time, permanent basis. You will be expected to plan and deliver to students at primary level, who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school. The work is challenging but incredibly rewarding as you will be a part of helping young people move successfully into the next step of their education journey…

You will be contracted to work full time, Monday to Friday, term time only. Commencing as soon as possible, you will begin on a temporary basis and then progress into a permanent placement once you have passed probation.

The headteacher is looking for a caring, dedicated teacher, who has the confidence to manage behaviours in the classroom. You must be passionate about educating others and be flexible to be able to plan and deliver lessons around their needs. You will be following the UK curriculum, however this will be altered to meet the needs of the students, you will have the opporutntiy to use creative, outdoor learning. Working closely alongside the SENCO and senior leadership team, there will be regular opportunities to provide feedback on pupils development. You must have the confidence to manage behaviours in the classroom, however you will be supported by Learning Support Assistants.
