Trainee Assistant Accountant

The successful individual for this role will be a strong communicator who enjoys engaging with individuals both face-to-face and over the phone, has a proven track record of hitting deadlines, and has the drive and determination to climb the career ladder. In this position, you will get exposure to managing a portfolio of clients, liaising with senior stakeholders both inside and outside of finance, completing month end accounts and producing detailed reporting.

Skills required

• A strong knowledge of core accounting, whether it's from a degree in accounting, through other studies or initial practical experience.
• Be a confident and outgoing individual with great communication skills, as you will regularly engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Be an ambitious and hardworking individual, who is looking to further their career in the accounting sector, looking to study ACCA or CIMA.
• Have great time management and organisational skills, to enable you to hit a number of tight client deadlines on a weekly and monthly basis.
