Hours / Shift: Flexible - 4-5 days per week (30-37.5hrs/ week) 08:30-16:30 - negotiable

The Role:

Hertfordshire Community Trust are seeking a passionate Band 6 or Band 75 Occupational Therapist to bring their expertise to its well established and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team. Working on a long-term contract, you’ll thrive on finding strategies to meet a range of patient specific needs and goals, whilst providing exceptional care that supports our mature patients on their journey to greater independence.

Would also consider candidates with strong stroke/neuro experience.

What you can add:

• To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of work, including clinical practice, and for the work and clinical practice of line-managed staff.
• To maintain a high standard of clinical care within own professional practice and of the team as a whole.
• You will work closely with a team of Physiotherapists, Ots and Rehabilitation Assistants as well as the wider MDT in the delivery of a rehabilitation package. You will provide skilled assessment and treatment sessions to support the individual’s rehabilitation and discharge planning including equipment ordering.

What you will need:

• Occupational Therapy degree qualification or equivalent & NHS experience
• Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
• Be HCPC registered
• Previous NHS experience is preferred but not essential
• Full, UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

• Relevant Qualifications
• Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
