We are looking for a new Talent acquisition partner to join our team based in Huntingdon on an
18-month temporary contract.
Your role will be to provide full 360 recruitment support to the wider business, covering Warehouse & Distribution, Retail, Customer Services, Manufacturing and Support roles. This role is to be accountable and responsible for all aspects of recruitment in the colleagues designated area, whilst also supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager and wider recruitment team, providing a specialised and professional approach to all recruitment matters.

- Finally, we want someone who understands the importance and need for managing third part suppliers such as Recruitment agencies.
What will you do?

- Search and source new candidates across a multichannel operation.
- Creating recruitment plans for start to end recruitment, including, but not limited to; advertisement design and promotion, candidates screening, interviews, feedback and offers and onboarding.
- Provide key and concise information about the business and role to all candidates
- Develop a talent pipeline for key roles and utilise this leading up to peak and high-volume periods.
- Be accountable and responsible for key area of business.
- Update and develop various opportunities to improve our talent attraction program.
- Visits of sites away from office to contribute towards building company culture and providing onsite support where needed
- Attend meetings to support the business agenda regarding talent
- Support in the onboarding of new candidates, helping to support hiring managers in the few months of a candidates journey with business.
- Track all live and filled roles, including various BI metrics
- Confident to represent the business on events such as recruitment fairs or other recruiting activities such as telephone or on-site interviews
- Keeping up to date with market conditions for different roles and industries, carrying out benchmarking and job board insights as necessary
- Supporting hiring managers with interview and process guidance and ATS / system knowledge, setting up hiring managers with access to the ATS and training on use
- Manage messages in the TA/recruitment inboxes ‘Careers’ & ‘Interview Notes’, responding or taking further action, liaising with other departments as necessary and replying as appropriate
- Check results for ‘right to work’ verifications daily and follow up on any alerts
- Check results for ‘DBS’ / criminal record checks (role dependant), downloading reports and saving to secure central files
- Ensure new recruitment authorisation requests have been approved by the appropriate senior manager before placing adverts on various media to promote the role and attract applications, meeting employer branding guidelines.
- Liaising with candidates and where necessary, agencies to arrange interviews and send confirmations to candidates, setting up diary entries for online video calls
- Create offer packs on the ‘onboarding’ system in accordance with the vacancy details on the authorisation and send to successful candidates.
- Complete onboarding exports for new colleagues joining the business, ensuring all onboarding documentation has been e-signed or returned appropriately and we’re compliant with our policies and procedures
- Reporting and updating vacancy lists for internal publication and for updating senior managers
- Ensuring our systems are audit compliant, carrying out periodic data cleanse exercises and updating details
- Corresponding with candidates to advise of the outcome of applications
Along with the above, you will support the recruitment and talent project initiative to help improve efficiency and effectiveness across all talent plans. This will include, Onboarding of new starters, implementing new systems, creating new comms, creating new interview packs, plus much more!
