Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Bookkeeper, your primary responsibilities will include:

Financial Recordkeeping:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements.

Payroll Support:
- Assist in preparing payroll documentation and ensuring timely payments.

Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate financial reports for management.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Compliance:
- Assist with VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
- Ensure financial practices adhere to relevant laws and company policies.

Administrative Support:
- Manage invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Respond to financial inquiries from colleagues or vendors.
Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge and familiarity with financial principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in bookkeeping, finance, or a related field.
- Understanding of the technology consultancy industry.
- AAT qualification or working towards a similar certification.
