Teaching Assistant - Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Location: Liverpool
Hours: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: £12.90 per hour

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) at a highly regarded school in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with SEND, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in both classroom and individual settings.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and resources to meet the needs of pupils.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Assist with personal care needs, if required.
• Promote student's independence, confidence, and emotional well-being.

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is highly desirable.
• A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with students.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
