Job title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent (accommodation provided for non-local engineers)
Duration: 4 months initially
Day rate: £180 per day (CIS, Limited Company or PAYE - contractor can choose)
Start date: January/February 2025
Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4.30pm
Pay frequency: Weekly

Role
Do you want to obtain government SC Clearance? Are you a talented Data Cabling Engineer who takes pride in their work?
We are assisting a successful company who specialise in the installation of copper and fibre network cabling, and they are assembling a team of experienced data cabling engineers to work in Sittingbourne, Kent for a large government client. 
As Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for cable pulling, termination and testing.

** This excellent opportunity includes sponsorship for government SC Clearance, with a start date scheduled for late January to early February **

Essential requirements

• Previous experience operating as a Data Cabling Engineer
• Cat6 installation, cable pulling & termination experience
• Fibre pulling
• Good understanding of health and safety practice, preferably supported with a CSCS or ECS card
• Able to work in a team
• An energetic work ethic, focussed on a positive and timely outcome
• Able to work in England without requiring sponsorship or the processing of a work visa
