Maths Teacher (QTS)

Location: Rochdale

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Monday to Friday 8am - 3pm

Salary: £150 - £200 per day (Depending on Experience)

Are you a passionate and fully qualified Maths Teacher seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity? Our popular and inclusive secondary school in Rochdale are looking for a dedicated Maths teacher to teach pupils up to KS4. This role is full-time with the opportunity to become permanent for the right Maths Teacher and involves teaching, planning and marking. The school are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the Uk with previous experience of teaching Maths up to KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching: Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to secondary school students, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
2. Planning and Preparation: Develop well-structured and creative lesson plans, tailored to the needs of the students and aligned with the curriculum.
3. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, effectively managing student behavior and fostering a love for Maths.
4. Assessment: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the overall development of the Maths department and school community.
