Our client a professional services company have an exciting opportunity for a Wills and Probate Assistant to join their dynamic team. You will work closely with their Private Client team, managing a caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
This role is available on a full or part-time basis, with a minimum requirement of 25 office-based hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting documents and corresponding with clients and financial institutions.
- Liaising with clients in person and by telephone, handling enquiries.
- Managing sensitive and complex matters professionally and objectively.
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to empathize with clients who have experienced a bereavement.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong work ethic and client-handling skills.
- Friendly demeanor and ability to work well in a team.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Discretion and confidentiality.
- Proactive and able to use initiative to solve problems.
- Genuine interest in private client matters and a desire to develop skills in this area.
- Valid driving license (desirable but not essential).
- Experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
