A specialist school in Wokingham is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work with students aged 4 to 18 who face social, emotional, and mental health needs. About the Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support students who face complex challenges, including adverse childhood experiences.
• Provide pastoral care and emotional support to enhance students' self-esteem and resilience.
• Help students overcome barriers to learning, fostering both personal and academic development.
• Collaborate with teachers and multi-therapy teams to deliver tailored interventions and promote positive behaviors.
• Create a safe and empowering environment where students can thrive emotionally and academically.

This role is particularly well-suited for graduates with a background in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, or Counselling, eager to gain practical experience in a supportive and impactful educational setting.

• Pay:£83 - £95 per day (dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)

• Hours:Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 3:30 pm)
• Experience:Desired but not essential; enthusiasm, compassion, and a proactive attitude are key!
