Family Care Paralegal
Location: Leicester
Salary: up to £27,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will carry out a range of tasks, which include:

Providing direct support to Care clients, acting as the primary point of contact for new cases, allocation, and during court appearances.
Handling all phone and in-person inquiries at the office.
Managing the team calendar and coordinating client appointments.
Assisting the team with client communications, instructions, and follow-ups.
Attending meetings with clients (Legal Help) under supervision and support.
Offering administrative support to the team.
Managing case files, including setup, conflict checks, liaising with counsel and experts, obtaining costs.
Completing LAA applications, scope extensions, prior authority, and billing, to be reviewed by the fee earner.
Drafting letters, creating file notes, phone memos, and other correspondence.
Preparing court documents.
Attending meetings with fee earners and recording notes.
Accompanying counsel to court and taking notes.
Performing additional office tasks as needed.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the childcare paralegal position should possess the following attributes:

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a courteous phone demeanor.
Strong attention to detail.
Superb organisational and time management skills.
Proficient typing abilities.
Competent letter-writing skills and a strong command of language.
Adept in IT.
Capability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with office equipment.
Proficient in MS Office (with a strong focus on Excel, Word, and Outlook).
A genuine interest in childcare law and a dedication to delivering exceptional client care and service
