Your new role
They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bid Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the bid process from start to finish, ensuring that all bids are competitive, compliant, and compelling. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the construction industry.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the bid process for major construction projects.
• Develop and implement bid strategies to secure new business.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather necessary information for bid submissions.
• Review and analyse bid documents, ensuring compliance with client requirements.
• Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on bid progress and outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a Tier 1 contractor.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and regulations.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
