About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Doncaster. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students, fostering a love for music and encouraging creativity and expression through a dynamic curriculum. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing them for examinations and performances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities.
• Encourage student participation in music-related extracurricular activities and school events.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the music department and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Music or a related field.
• Experience teaching music at the secondary level is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
