My client has been going for over 70 years and supply into multiple sector due to the nature of their business. As they work with a range of key industries they are in a financially strong & stable position and due to their growth, they are looking to add a Machine Operator to their team.

In this role you will join a busy workshop team in a varied position setting & operating a Press Brake machine, you will also be provided with opportunities to be trained on other machinery within the site to improve your skillset.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a workshop, engineering or manufacturing environment setting and operating machinery. Experience with press brake, bending machines, hydraulic press, folding machines, plasma cutters and similar will be an advantage

The role:

• Monday to Friday, 38.5hr week (Hours can vary between 2 shifts 6 am - 2:30 pm or 8 am - 4:30 pm, candiates may have the option to choose a prefered shift)
• Setting and operating a press break machine
• Varied role with some work on other machinery and equipment in the workshop

The person:

• Previous experience in a workshop, engineering or manufacturing environment
• Experience setting and operating machinery
• Experienced in working with sheet metal
• Any experience with the following is beneficial but not a necessity; press brake, bending machines, hydraulic press, folding machines, plasma cutters welding, fabrication, punch press, corrugators, coiling, production lines, working with steel or operating a counterbalance forklift truck
• Can commute to Evesham
