Embedded Software Engineer

Our client are an electronics and software focused R&D business with onsite manufacturing. They wish to appoint an Embedded Software Engineer in a split electronics and firmware role. You will spend approximately half of your time coding in an embedded software based position and the other half working on traditional electronics and interacting with other departments. It is important in this Embedded Software Engineer role that you have good experience with embedded software and firmware but also that you have had some exposure to electronics hardware too.

Embedded Software Engineer - Skills & Abilities - Firmware Software

* Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science preferred
* Proficient in C with some time post qualification spent in industry
* Experience with Microcontrollers / Microprocessors
* Knowledge of embedded software testing
