What You’ll Be Doing as General Manager

In this leadership role, you’ll ensure every customer leaves with an exceptional experience, managing the showroom in a way that meets ambitious sales targets while maintaining high standards. Responsibilities include:

• Driving Sales and Customer Experience: Oversee every part of the customer journey, from engagement to closing, ensuring a seamless experience that aligns with company standards.
• Inspiring and Developing Your Team: Lead, coach, and mentor your team to achieve KPIs and maximise individual and store performance.
• Brand Representation: Be a brand ambassador for the company, working with values-based leadership to instill company standards and pride in the team.
• Optimising Performance: Manage performance through training, goal-setting, and feedback to create a team of sales superstars.
• Managing Operations: Ensure the store runs smoothly, conducting daily briefings to keep your team up-to-date with important information, policies, and promotions.

What We’re Looking For in a General Manager

• Proven experience in people management within high-value retail (such as furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, automotive, electronics, or similar industries).
• Strong sales acumen, with a history of achieving or exceeding targets and KPIs.
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with a high level of resilience and an unwavering focus on the customer journey.
• Sound understanding of P&L management and a strategic approach to achieving store goals.
