As a National Account Executive in the Grocery sector, you’ll be instrumental in supporting and growing our presence across key off-trade channels. Working closely with national retailers and convenience stores, you will execute the sales strategy, secure new listings, and drive performance in line with company objectives.
Based in Head Office in Newbury 1-2 days per week, this role offers a salary of up to £36,000 DOE, alongside a generous bonus scheme and benefits package, including 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays and your birthday off), car allowance, opportunities for career progression, and much more!
Key Responsibilities of the National Account Executive role:
• Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, executing sales strategies that drive growth and profitability.
• Manage key relationships with national retail chains, communicating with Senior Account Managers and internal teams to ensure a seamless experience.
• Collaborate with customer marketing to create and implement account-specific promotional campaigns.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the off-trade sector to expand market presence.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to continuously refine and inform sales strategies.
• Oversee sales forecasts and budget management, ensuring revenue targets and profitability metrics are met.
Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in sales, preferably within FMCG or a related sector.
• A proactive approach to business development.
• Proficiency with data analysis, including a confident understanding of financial performance indicators.
• A collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, adaptable to various stakeholders.
• Interest in wine and the grocery sector is advantageous.
