This international business within the luxury Watch, time pieces and accessories sector are looking for a Watch Repair & Polisher, based in their head centre.

You will operate specialised polishing and grinding machinery, to work with precious materials and will include applying various surface finishes to components like watch cases and bracelets.

To be successful in this Watch Repair & Polisher:

  • Utilise specialised polishing and grinding equipment to carry out refurbishment on watch cases and bracelets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain equipment in compliance with company protocols, health & safety regulations.
  • Keep the workspace clean and safe, adhering strictly to company policies, & health & safety standards.
  • Achieve individual performance targets and meet departmental service level agreements to maintain productivity and efficiency.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Continuously enhance skills and knowledge of new product releases and developments.
  • Provide support to other areas of the workshop as needed.

To be successful in this Watch Repair & Polisherposition you must:

  • Ideally having 1-2 years' experience as Watch Polisher/Repair or Refurb experience
  • Experience as a technical operator, fabricator or technician in manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or metalwork would be able to make a great transition into this area!
  • Skilfully handle small objects and tools with precision and care, ensuring detailed and accurate work.
  • Stay open to learning new techniques and accommodating changes in processes or products.
  • Effectively prioritise tasks, manage workload efficiently, and achieve targets without compromising quality.
  • A passion for horology or watchmaking, with aspirations to build a long-term career in the field would be desirable.
  • A formal polishing qualification, such as WOSTEP certification will be desirable or the completion of other watch or jewellery polishing courses will be desirable .
