Head of Physical Education

A well respected secondary school based in Hounslow are looking for a head of PE (Physical Education). We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in lead roles. Salary will be based on outer London MPS/UPS plus TLR.

Role - head of PE:

• lead teaching of the subject in the department, implementing a progressive and challenging curriculum
• plan curriculum that takes into account learning and develops understanding and skills in preparation for future learning
• impart knowledge and develop understanding through effective use of lesson time
• lead on co-curricular enrichment that supports the curriculum
• manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment
