Role Overview:
As a Branch Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in optimising stock levels and maximising sales across the store network. With a strong focus on store grading, stock allocation, replenishment, and branch planning, you will ensure that each store receives the right stock at the right time, tailored to customer demand and local trends. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the continued success of the brand as they continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Grading & Planning: Work closely with the Merchandising team to assess the needs of each store, ensuring that stock levels are aligned with the store's grading, size, and local customer preferences.
- Stock Allocation & Replenishment: Manage the efficient allocation of stock to ensure optimal product availability across all branches. Ensure that the replenishment process is accurate and timely to maximise sales opportunities and minimise out-of-stock situations.
- Branch Sales & Performance Monitoring: Regularly analyse sales data across branches to track performance, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve stock levels and sales performance.
- Forecasting & Planning: Contribute to the development of sales forecasts and branch plans. Use historical data, customer trends, and sales forecasts to plan and optimise stock levels for each location.
- Product Range & Stock Flow Management: Work with the buying and planning teams to ensure product ranges and stock flows are tailored to each branch's needs, optimising sales and reducing the risk of markdowns.
- In-Store Merchandising Support: Provide guidance to store teams on product presentation, space optimisation, and visual merchandising best practices to ensure consistent and attractive product displays.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Liaise with store managers, the marketing team, and central merchandising teams to ensure seamless stock flow, efficient replenishment, and successful product launches across all branches.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate and analyse regular reports on stock levels, sales performance, and replenishment accuracy to drive decision-making and ensure optimal stock management.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of store grading, allocations, and replenishment processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and apply insights to optimise stock management.
- Proficiency in using merchandising software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, including buying, operations, and store managers.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a passion for driving performance and delivering results.
