SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN TA - Burnley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN at a lovely school near Burnley.

For this role, you will need to have had previous experience supporting children with SEN and be comfortable administering personal care.

Position Details:

• Location: Burnley
• Position: SEN TA
• Hours: 9am-3:15pm
• Minimum rate of pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
• Full time/part time: Full time only
• Type of work: Temporary
• Start date: 02/12/2024
• End date: Ongoing

Responsibilities:

• Leading groups of children on learning activities
• Managing behaviour effectively
• Preparing resources and establishing learning areas

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
