Salary: £70,000 + 20% bonus + 10% pension + hybrid working
Location: South Manchester (2 days in the office)
Main Duties:
- Provide financial guidance and leadership to SLT, communicating financial implications and strategic decisions.
- Provide recommendations and offer insight through high quality analysis.
- Business Partner with the Finance Director and Director of Operations and Growth to support key decision making.
- Responsible for divisional P&L by effectively line managing one member of staff, coaching them to deliver best practice and support their personal development.
- Design and implement a high standard of monthly reporting (P&L, BS, capex, KPI’s).
- Finance lead for divisional appraisals ensuring evaluations of financially strong, achieving the strategic goals of growth.
- Foster a commercial mindset, looking at ROI as you investigate new and existing opportunities.
- Support the FD on M&A project work as required.
- Support the Head of Finance to deliver a transformation project for the organisations global capital program.
- Support the SLT in changes to the systems and Group Finance procedures to support the scale of growth and uphold a tight controls environment.
- Take responsibility for process improvement with a focus on automating reporting.
Person Specification: - ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified.
- Strong experience working within a commercial, high growth environment.
- Experience working in a commercial/ advisory setting is essential.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to seek out opportunities and create business opportunity.
- Experience managing a small team is essential.
- Excellent communicator with proven stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Excel capability.
- Excellent communicator.
- Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
