Position: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Northampton
Job Type: Long term ongoing temp
Salary: LTD - Monday to Friday £18.00 to £20.00 per hour Weekends £21.00 to £23.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to deliver goods to various locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Comply with all UK driving laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients.
Requirements:
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) license.
• Driver CPC qualification and valid digital tachograph card.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in HGV Class 1 driving.
• Strong knowledge of UK road laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Ability to lift and move goods if required (manual handling training provided).
