Role Responsibilities - Plan, lead, and oversee audit engagements from initiation through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Manage a portfolio of clients, building lasting relationships and acting as their go-to advisor for audit-related matters
- Identify client needs and opportunities for additional services, contributing to business development
- Supervise and mentor the audit team, ensuring high-quality work and supporting professional growth
- Review and finalise audit reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in presenting findings to clients
- Ensure compliance with UK auditing standards, IFRS, and UK GAAP across all engagements
- Monitor budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated client solutions and maximise value

Candidate Requirements - Fully qualified ACA or ACCA with at least three years’ post-qualification experience in audit
- Proven experience managing audit engagements for a variety of clients, including owner-managed businesses
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, IFRS, and UK GAAP
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business opportunities
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously
