Aspire People is seeking an enthusiastic and committed History Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to inspire and motivate students while contributing to their academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in History to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the curriculum requirements.
Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress and provide feedback to parents and staff.
Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
Collaborate with other staff members to plan and deliver cross-curricular activities.
Ensure students are challenged and motivated to achieve their best potential.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have a strong background in History with a relevant degree and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
Be passionate about teaching History and dedicated to fostering a love for the subject in students.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Have experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and 4 level.
Show a commitment to professional development and improving educational outcomes.
