Cost Accountant

Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Cost Accountant for a growing organisation in Ebbw Vale, near Merthyr Tydfil.

The Cost Accountant will have full ownership of product costing for the organisation.

• Acting as a trusted partner to key stakeholders in the Operations and R&D functions
• Compilation and reporting of relevant Operational KPI's
• Reconciliation of stock
• Preparation of manufacturing variance reports and analysis of key drivers, articulation of insights to key stakeholders
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis of variances to budget/forecast
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month end close process
• Finance lead on biannual stock checks
• Cost centre accounting - monthly reporting and analysis of variances to budget/forecast
• Supporting forecast/budget processes
• Preparation of supporting materials for statutory audit and tax computations, including Patent Box claims and R&D tax relief
• Supporting PMO function with project accounting services for Operations and R&D business cases

On offer:

A salary of to £50,00 plus benefits package.
