About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive team at a well-regarded Catholic Voluntary Academy in Scunthorpe. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for science and encouraging academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in science, with the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to promoting the ethos and values of a Catholic educational environment.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine passion for inspiring students.
