We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Emotional Support Teaching Assistant at an inclusive and vibrant school in Sutton Scottney. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who is ready to make a positive impact by providing emotional support to students, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
This is a part-time position (2 days a week: Thursday and Friday) with the potential for additional days or full-time hours for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who can bring their skills and experience to support students with their emotional and educational development.
About the Role:As an Emotional Support Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students aged 11-16, supporting those with a range of SEN. You will provide tailored emotional and academic support to help students stay engaged and build confidence in their learning. You will collaborate with the school’s Inclusion and Learning Support teams, offering 1:1 and small group interventions that support students in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:We are looking for an experienced and compassionate individual who is committed to helping students succeed emotionally and academically. You will have prior experience working in educational support roles, particularly in environments where you have worked with SEN students or those needing emotional support.
