Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
• Provide a supportive, stimulating learning environment and share our high expectations of achievement for all students.
• To assist the Head of Faculty to ensure that the curriculum area provides a range of teaching which compliments the Academy's strategic objectives.
• To achieve any performance criteria or targets arising from the Academy's Performance Management arrangements.
• To maintain the required level of CPD.
• Maintain appropriate records to demonstrate progress made by students.

Requirements

• QTS/QTLS is essential
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Experience teaching across both KS3 and KS4
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum
• The ability to interest, encourage and engage students
• Create a well organised, stimulating learning environment
