Are you a caring Children's Residential Home Manager who is passionate about making a difference and providing a high level of care?

Connect2SocialWork have partnered with an organisation who have a brand-new 3-bed children's residential service in South East London. We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager/Deputy Manager who will play an integral role in setting up the home, OFSTED registration and ongoing future.

The home has excellent facilities to aid working with children and young people with Social, Emotional, Behavioural Difficulties and Learning Disabilities.

Requirements of the Registered Manager include:

  • Effectively lead a team of staff to enable the highest quality of care.
  • Minimum 2 years strong experience working as a Manager/Deputy Manager in a children's home.
  • Reflective staff supervision, managerial and communication skills
  • Excellent Ofsted regulatory knowledge
  • Ensure support and guidance within all Ofsted inspections.
  • Will need to become registered with Ofsted.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a senior or management role (This must include experience conducting supervisions with staff)
  • Must hold NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (Essential)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Preferred)

Pay:

Start salary of up to £65,000.00 per year (dependant on experience)

Bonus: 12month Bonus review linked to performance and Good - Outstanding OFSTED rating. (Total package: up to £75,000 per year)
