Accountable Recruitment is excited to bring this new Finance Director role to market on behalf of one of our clients in Knowsley. We are looking for an experienced, proven Financial Director with a strong operational background to join the leadership team of this well-established business.
As Finance Director, you will play a critical role in partnering with and supporting the managers to develop and implement business strategies and operational efficiency. Leading an experienced finance team, you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to support business growth, optimal operational and contract performance, and long-term financial health.
Your operational knowledge and expertise will be crucial in driving effective financial planning and modelling and aligning the financial strategy with business objectives.
Package
- £85-100k DOE plus benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining a financial strategy to drive the businesses strategic growth plan
- Operationally astute, you will provide robust commercial insight and timely financial reporting to support financial decisions by Directors and Board
- Continuing to drive close integration of the finance, commercial and operational functions to support business growth
- Partnering with key stakeholders to optimise processes, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency across the business.
- Ensuring the company meets all of its financial, regulatory, tax and legal responsibilities
- As Finance leader you will provide strong leadership and management of the finance team who are responsible for maintaining financial controls, cash flow forecasting, monthly reporting and credible financial management information.
.Skills & Experience:
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive experience in financial management of an operational business (such as FMCG, Construction, Manufacturing) at a senior level.
- Strong understanding of operational processes and how to drive efficiencies across a business.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- High-level analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities and stakeholders
- A proactive, hands-on, approachable leader with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
