Housekeeper/Laundress

Silver & Bow are seeking a meticulous Housekeeper/Laundress to join our client’s fully staffed household in Kensington, Central London.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a housekeeper in a private household or five-star hotel environment, will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

This is a straightforward housekeeping role that does not involve any cooking duties as the family employ chefs and there is no requirement for travel. The household is formal and this is a full-time, live out position working in a small team of housekeepers for a lovely family.

Uniform and staff meals are provided.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Daily housekeeping and upkeep of the property
• Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation of the household
• Care of delicate materials - marble, glass, antique furniture and fine fabrics
• Washing and ironing
• Receiving visitors and attending to guests
• Liaising with other members of staff, i.e. butlers, drivers

Days/Hours: 5 days per week (including some weekends)
10 hours per day. Starting at 7am or 8am.
