Electrical Maintenance Technician
Salary: £48,000 to £49,000
Shift Patterns: Rotating weekly shifts (early, late, nights)
Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to play a key role in maintaining, improving, and repairing equipment, ensuring optimal efficiency and output for production operations.
Your Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Equipment Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain equipment to maximize production quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and robotic faults with minimal downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance to prevent unexpected equipment failures.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with the production team to align maintenance activities with production schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements, improve productivity, and maintain quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, operational data, and spare parts inventory.
- Training: Provide guidance to operators on safe and effective use of equipment.
About You:
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong technical skills, including experience with PLC systems and robotic programming
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification
- 18th Edition
