Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shifts: 3 shifts on a rotating basis, 6.00am to 2.00pm / 2.00pm to 10.00pm / 10.00pm to 6.00am

Salary: £30,000 - £35,500

Job Purpose:
Join dynamic team as a Mechanical Technician, providing technical support to the manufacturing unit. You'll be responsible for carrying out tool changes and machine settings efficiently, ensuring quality production in line with company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tool changes and settings for plastics moulding machinery.
• Conduct fault finding on machinery and report any issues promptly.
• Ensure safety checks and QC inspections are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company procedures.

Requirements:

• Technical qualification in Engineering or Vehicle Maintenance.
• Proven experience in a technical role, preferably in an engineering environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.

Desirable Experience:

• Previous experience in manufacturing/packaging.
• Knowledge of blow moulding or injection moulding processes.
