My client is a well-known steel fabricator in Barnsley. They are a family-owned business formed in 1985, specialising in the design, build and manufacture of all types of steel structures. Their products are used in single and multi-storey, warehouses, offices, commercial premises, distribution centres, retail parks, leisure centres, sports facilities and many other applications.

They are based in a modern production unit situated near junction 38 of the M1 motorway.

My client is actively seeking a Senior Design Engineer to assist with the current workload and the successful applicant will;

• Have gained a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Likely have worked for a steel fabricator previously
• Have previous experience in the design of portal frames
• You will likely be confident using CAD/TEKLA etc
• You will work well as part of a close knit team
• Display a positive proactive approach to work
