Role Overview:
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for teaching Economics to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will inspire and engage students, helping them to develop a deep understanding of Economics and achieve their full academic potential. This is a permanent position starting in April 2025, offering a competitive salary based on the Outer London Pay Scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality Economics lessons tailored to the curriculum for KS3, KS4, and KS5.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing effective feedback and support.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Utilise innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning and development.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and welfare.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Economics or a related field.
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
Experience teaching Economics at KS3, KS4, and KS5 levels.
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Economics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to design and implement engaging and effective lessons.
