Cargo Broker Technician

A leading and international Lloyd's Broker, who have a strong presence within the London Market Insurance, now have an exciting position within their Cargo Stock Throughput Division.

Role Requirements

• Responsible for working closely with Brokers to assist with the placement of risks
• Producing timely and accurate MRC slips and endorsements
• Day-to-day interaction with clients and markets
• Negotiating and liaising with Underwriters
• Build and maintain relationships with markets and clients
• Assisting with Broking duties as and when required

About You

• You will have 2 years of London Market experience (Broking or Underwriting)
• Experienced in Marine Cargo (or other Marine sub-classes) or Property or Specie insurance
• Competent in creating or processing market documentation (MRC Slips and Endorsements)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
