A well-regarded law firm in Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with a strong background in personal injury litigation to manage a varied caseload in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a mixed caseload of Personal Injury claims, including Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), Occupiers’ Liability (OL), Public Liability (PL), and Employers’ Liability (EL).
- Handle cases from inception to settlement, ensuring all procedural and statutory requirements are met.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and correspond with clients, solicitors, experts, and insurance companies.
- Prepare cases for litigation, ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and court deadlines.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant statutory legislation and case law to provide accurate and effective legal advice.
- Liaise with clients and other parties, offering high levels of client care and professionalism.
- Ensure cases are progressed efficiently while meeting performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Personal Injury litigation is desirable.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Personal Injury law, litigation processes, and the CPR.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload independently, ensuring attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience in managing RTA, OL, PL, and EL cases.
