Somerset Education Alliance are a supply teacher employment business in it's 10th year of establishment and are looking for a Geography Teacher to take on a full-time and part time exciting ad hoc supply teaching opportunities within schools in the Yeovil area.

The Job Role

Somerset Education Alliance are looking for a Geography teacher based in or around the Yeovil area who is driven and dedicated to educating and guiding the young minds of our future. You will be able to adapt to different environments, engage students with invigorating ideas and radiate positivity throughout supply teaching placements.

Please note: Our daily pay rate for teachers as a supply teacher recruitment business starts at £120 but can be negotiated up to £200 based on experience, pay scale and additional responsibilities, and is ultimately at the discretion of school budgets.

Geography Teacher Responsibilities

- Delivering cover lessons

- Preparing planning if required

- Following safeguarding and school policies

- Marking work as needed

- Liaising with school staff

Geography Teacher Essentials

- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)

- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)

- A 3 year minimum reference history

- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum

- Reliability

- Excellent communication skills
