RG Consultancy are working with a medium sized and fast growing construction business in Rochdale who are recruiting a Sales Ledger Supervisor to join a small finance team. You will oversee and manage the Sales Ledger function and supervise a small team of two people.

The Role
- To oversee and manage the Sales Ledger function within the finance department
- Ensure the accurate reporting to the accountant periodically and year end
- To ensure the sales ledger invoices are processed, queried and reconciled
- Responsible for the forward planning, deadline settings and ensure team are adhering to and achieving these
- Process invoices, payments and customer related queries
- Raising credits
- Any adhoc dudites to support the Sales Ledger/Credit Control function as required
The Person
- Experience within a people management or supervisory role in a finance/accounts setting
- Leadership skills to supervise a small team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experienced in MS Excel and SAGE is highly desirable
- An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
